I have intermittent trouble with video on an HP Compaq Elite 8300 SFF desktop. Some time ago, I installed a Radeon HD 7650a MXM graphics card, to improve performance and (I think) resolve some video problems I was experiencing at the time. I'm using an HP DisplayPort to HDMI adapter, and HDMI cable, to connect to a large display. This had been working well for a long time. More recently, I started having intermittent trouble, where I see a "no signal detected" message on the display. Oddly, if I also connect a spare display/monitor to the VGA port, I get the expected video signal on the large DisplayPort/HDMI display.

The PC is running Windows 10, patched to date, and has the latest BIOS firmware.
Any ideas?

...use onboard iGPU to see you still have the same problem or not, because the HP computer came with 240W PSU. Or check the HD7650 in other PC...
I'm using the original power supply, which has been working with the Radeon HD 7650a MXM! I'm not sure why the trouble would be related to the power supply. Unfortunately, I don't have another system I can use to test the MXM card.

...on your board, it has regular 16Xpcie slot...

I mistakenly indicated the system is an HP Compaq Elite 8300 SFF. It's an HP Compaq Elite 8300 Ultra-slim PC. It definitely has a slot for MXM graphics cards, such as the installed Radeon HD 7650a MXM.
