I have a HP I bought 2 years ago that I want to upgrade a bit to be able to play games with higher FPS at a Low-Medium Quality. I'm fairly new to most of the computer terms and components so I'll try my best to show my specs.

The model is HPE-510y
Processor: AMD Phemon(tm) II X6 1055T Processor 2.80 Ghz
RAM: 8 GB
Video Card: AMD Radeon HD 6570 1 GB

I'm pretty sure there are many other things I am missing but it would really help if you could help me a bit. I'm trying to go for a lower budget improvement

I have the EXACT computer! I replaced the old card with a nVidia GeoForce GTX 550ti, and the old PSU with a Dynex 450w. I added a second HDD using a WD Caviar Black 320GB. Sadly, I have noticed that the heat inside the case rose significantly. I installed two small fans having MOLEX connectors from the spare leads from the new PSU over the holes in my computer's case to help disperse some of the heat. Now, I think that I might have to replace my Heatsink on my CPU. It is a good computer, but the case leaves little room for upgrades. I may have to build me own, because I play WoW quite frequently. :-(
