i got the hp d220 wondering if i can upgrade to the P4 3.06 512 533 with HT? i read somewhere on the web that this guy swapped out the celeron with this p4?

What processor do you have in the D220 and what socket type is the motherboard. This might be of some use

Its a socket 478 with an 845gv chipset the max FSB that chipset will work with is 533mhz
