Hello Tomshardware.com,
While I have not made an account on here before I have used this site to answer many of my questions in the past regarding computer troubles or issues of some sort - unfortunately, today I am stumped.
Basically, what happens is I turn on my Desktop and all fans run as well as the Graphics Card. Uniquely enough, the actual "power/start up" button doesn't glow any color at all and if I plug in any devices they do not give a response. This includes a USB Keyboard and Mouse along with my DVI monitor. Everything with my system was working all perfectly fine until just a few days ago when I went to bed I shut it off, after work I returned home to turn it back on and this is when the prior had begun.
So far I've tried unplugging all components to any USB port, video port, sound, etc and holding the Power button for 30+ seconds as recommended in another thread, unplugging multiple different chords from the mobo and listening for any sort of beeps, and removing the RAM/putting it into different RAM slots. Sadly nothing happens, the fans just run at a normal speed and the Mobo's small LED light in the bottom corner lights up green.
I use the "HP p7-1223wb" desktop all stock except for a Gigabyte graphics card and power supply that is able to support the cards needs. Windows 7 Home Premium
The official specs are:
MSI MS-7778 (Jasmine) Mobo
AMD A8-5500 3.2 ghz
4 gb RAM x 2
Any and all help is appreciated and I will try to troubleshoot anything suggested, thanks ahead of time!
