HP DX7400 Fan Speed

Hello everyone, I would like to know if there are any types of software that can control my HP DX7400 Fan speed I have tried SpeedFan but it seems to not work with the HP And I do know how to use Speed Fan. The Fan on idle is about 3000RPM+ to 3500RPM Its not to loud but my main computer which has 8 Fans is much quieter than it. If there is anything that can help it please tell me or should I just go for a physical fan controller?? Thanks Let me know Cheers!

Aside from the BIOS and the advanced Power options in control panel, there is almost never any way to change laptop fan speed. Speedfan won't and most third party applications like AMD overdrive or NVidia's utility won't either. Most if not all laptops just don't have the sensors or firmware for controlling the speed and despite years of user complaints about this issue, manufacturers just don't want users having control of the fans due to the sensitivity of laptops to overheating.
