HP Easynote B3312 Turning Off

Hi, i have a packard bell easynote B3312. The laptop works fine most of the time on battery and off the mains but has developed a problem of turning itself off. you only have to move it slightly at times and it just turns of instantly. I also noticed that sometimes doesnt turn on easliy, you have to repeatily press the on button till it fires up or just tap the laptop and it powers up.

Any ideas, cheers.

The first thing to rule out is over heating. Have you noticed the laptop running hotter than in the past? Usually if a laptop over heats, it will shut itself down kind of like an engine to spare itself damage to the main components. If heat isn't an issue, report back to us.

hi thanks for the reply, heat is deffo not an issue as it sometimes takes ages to turn on and will just switch off if you move it even when cold.

Hi, I have the same problem exactly, have you had any luck with a cure?
