Hp elite 8300 sff gpu problem

I got a Hp elite 8300 elite sff the pc was runing fast boot time very fast after i bought a new gt1030 boot time turn out to be slower on boot is there anyway i can let it run how it use to run without talking out the gpu
My specs
I5 3470 3.2ghz
4gb drr3 1600mhz
Gt1030
250gb hard drive (windows)
500gb (games)

how much slower? I got a gt 1030 too, and it does boot up slower, but not by a lot.

Also what do you mean by "250 gb hard drive (windows) 500 gb (games)"
do you mean you have a 250 gb hard drive with your system on it and another 500 gb hard drive for games?
or that you have two partitions on your hard drive one for your system and one for games?
