HP EliteDisplay E232 randomly turns off several times a day

Hello, I have recently changed displays to use with my laptop at work. The previous screen worked perfectly but as soon as I started using the HP EliteDisplay E232 I started experiencing trouble with the screen turning itself off randomly several times during the day. It comes up again after going black (not sure if it is by trigger from me using the keyborad or if it comes up automatically, will check further). Anyone who has seen this problem before and has a tip on how to fix it?

Are you using the same connection type as the other monitor? It's not just the power saving mode? It turns off while you are using it?
