HP Envy desktop black screen startup with 6 beeps

OK, so I got a new graphics card for my HP Envy 700-147c and couldn't figure it out, but recentry I decided to have another go at it, since it needs the upgrade, the new graphics card is a Nvidia GeForce GT 620 GC 2GB and the system has been previously running on a motherboard inset AMD Radeon HD 8670D chip, now I have uninstalled all the AMD drivers, but when I start up the system with the new card installed, the system beeps 6 times (which is the error code to reset the graphics card) and just sits there running on an empty black screen, I have attempted to launch the system in legacy bios but it will not allow me to select the option. Please help!
