Hello.
A few months ago my laptop started refuse power on or wake up commands. Not every time, maybe 1-2 times a week. After a few minutes of pressing different buttons he woke up as usual. Currently is compeletely off.
On power button press led indicator lighting up for 5-6 seconds, then turning off for 5-6 sec and go into a loop ON/OFF for 5-6 sec . Same for both fans. Looks like the laptop is trying to power and going OFF. SDD becomes warm, the screen is black. The laptop is not starting without a SDD stick. It doesn't matter the SDD is connected or not, same symptoms. Sometmes there is no loop, the indicator is on and fans are not spinning.
I tried EVERYTHING what HP bots offer as quick fixes. Connect external monitor, BIOS reset, 60sec+60sec pressing, remove battery for a few minutes (even overnight) Nothing help anymore.
If it is hardware related symptoms, can you point me to a good troubleshooting guide? Youtube videos are useless. I have basic knowledge of vintage electronics, can read schemes and repair some simple stereo receivers, but know nothing about modern electronics. HP website doesn't have service manuals with schemes, what they call "service manual" is useless files with dissasembling instructions.
Thanks.
