[SOLVED] HP Envy x360 laptop hinge bracket has broken

Everything meant to hold the metal bracket inside the laptop's touchscreen to the plastic frame has broken. The problem is that I cannot find any screw holes. I think it may have been held by plastic "bolts" melted into place.
Please pardon the unusual lack of information in my post, but everything that is broken is plastic.

Is there a way to secure this bracket? Am I wrong about there not being screws or at least screw holes? Do I use superglue and cotton?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

2-in-1's are hard to fix since the screen is often times held together by plastic retention clicks inside the bezel. A repair is to source a completely new bezel and hinges which will often times cost as mush as buying a brand new laptop. You can source them from Ebay or from Part-People.

And yet everything that is broken is plastic, and I have nothing to lose. Worst case scenario: I replace the screen anyway.

Hi darksloth am also facing the same issue and i post the same post regarding hinge issue. Am going to share my experience, you can try this by your self, hopefully it will solve your issue. Am going to share picture of hinge loose up, you just hold that screw and loose it up with some thing.
