Hey guys,

My question is that I'm wondering which laptop you guys would recommend I buy. Here are the boxes that I would prefer to be checked.

  • Has a touch screen
  • 15" 2 in 1 Laptop
  • IPS Screen
  • Has a great battery life (>6 hours - the more hours the better)
  • Can play very light games (couch party games such as move or die, Jackbox, rocket league, overwatch, etc...)
Note: I would use this primarily for school work (college) as I'm a computer engineering major and would use it for coding and writing lab reports and essays. Occasionally, I would play games on it as well when I had some free time, but I do have a very powerful desktop already.

Note: I'm currently in the process of trying to figure out if the HP Envy X360 is upgradeable (RAM and SSD)

I'm already aware that the Lenovo Laptop comes with better specs and such, but I'm convinced that the battery life isn't as good as the HP laptop, which might be a deal breaker for me. But I'm unsure. I just want opinions right now. Another thing to take note of is that the HP laptop has a ryzen CPU which is better than intel's in my opinion because it comes with better integrated graphics (significantly better) and it would be nice to produce as little heat as possible if it can be done. However, the Lenovo laptop does come with the dedicated GPU which is a 940mx which is even still worse than ryzen's integrated graphics (Vega 8 graphics).

Thanks for the responses!

Get the HP Envy x360.

Better built, power efficient and more reliable.

The page description doesn't have the model no, so it's impossible to tell whether RAM upgradable or not but i'm guessing it does support 16 GB. It's a 15.6 inch laptop.
