[SOLVED] HP Ethernet 10GB 2P 530FLR-SFP+ Adapter

Solution
Even Qlogic does not have non-server drivers. You only hope would be Server 2012 or 2016 drivers. It will probably require a manual install.

HP does sell an Intel X550 based 10GE card that they DO have Win 10 drivers. Part number 1JQ66AV. I just bought a Z4 G4 workstation with that card installed.
Since technically there is no such thing as window 10 server and these cards were only sold to run in servers it likely does not exist.

HP has lots of drivers you likely will just have to try some of the ones used on windows server releases and hope it will function.

Hi Billy

Thank you for your reply. I am sure we don't have such thing called Win 10 Server. What I meant , for some video processing PC's I have to install 10 Gigabit fiber NIC's over the network, I was wondering if Win10 supports these cards or HPE has any driver to support Win10 for these cards? Any win10 supported Fiber NIC card?

Thank you

Maybe I need to be more blunt. That card is not designed to run in anything other than a server. Win10 is not a server image so there is no driver.

You are going to have to hope that you get lucky and the drivers HP provides for the server images also works in win10.

When you deal with HP devices you can not even be 100% sure you can get them to run in a non HP server. They have a history of making things that only work in their hardware.

There are all kinds of more consumer focus companies like dlink that make similar cards and they run under win10. That does not mean you can run those drivers on a HP card. HP I am sure has that rigged so it doesn't work.
