[SOLVED] HP EX900 M.2 issue

Hello, I have a 500 gb ex900 from HP (that i bought new but no longer have warranty for it) and after about 2 months of usage, when trying to update my windows it got stuck in read only mode. i tried some to force format it in windows and linux and had no success. Anybody got any ideas that could help? The laptop i am using is a lenovo legion y520, in case it helps in any way. Thank you in advance.

Does HP have any testing utility?

Try to do a secure erase, if that's not possible it might be stuck in read-only mode due to some sort of error.
