HP F2105 monitor the power on light for a while then turn off

Hi 2 All,
i have the HP F2105 monitor, it was working fine until one day it wouldn't turn on, the power button light goes on for few seconds and then turn off.
i tried to used it in several places it didn't work except in one place where it worked fine with no problem, but when i took it home and plug it in, it didn't turn on.
please any body has an idea of what is going on????

Same problem, anyone have an answer? Do I just need to replace a dinky component or chuck the whole thing? A shame, it was a very versatily piece of hardware.
