HP G6 or Dell Inspiron?

I can't decide which computer to get between the HP G6-1061 or the Dell Inspiron 15R. Both can be bought at the same price. Does anyone recommend one over the other?

I meant to add that both have i3 processor, the HP has 4GB RAM and 500GB storage, the Dell has 3GB and 320 storage. Does it make sense to buy the HP with bigger memory etc or is the Dell a better computer all round.

I would go with the HP over the Dell. Manufacturer quality is pretty close and as long as the price isn't much different, I would want the 4GB and 500GB setup.

I'll take a Dell over a HP any day! HP crap out right after the warranty expires. Why do you think a bunch of unhappy HP owners filed a class action lawsuit against HP?

I have an hp laptop and so does my daughter , i should have purchased that extended warranty .

FWIW, only purchase extended warranties from the manufacturer. Those Geek Squad, Staples... warranties are worthless.

I Have used many laptops and have reviewed them.
Considering the fact that both the brands are leading pioneers
I would suggest you to go for HP

HP Pavilion G6 series laptops are great and really worth every penny.
I have seen its graphic processing capcity and am quite amused.

DELL is now not a good brand anymore.
Looks wise and features wise

If the G6 Has caught your intrest, iwould recommend go for it.

I would also suggest you to take the G6 with free DOS if possible, It would be cheaper.
