HP ink cart

Can anyone tell me if the hp 56 ,57,58 family of cartridges are able to be
switched with the hp 27,28 group.I have psc2410xi multi printer and an
hp3845 printer.I know they contain different amounts of ink.Can the 27,28 be
filled to a greater capacity.Thanks in advance

The 27/28 can be used in the PSC 2410 but not vice versa; the 56/57/58
cartridges will not work in the DeskJet 3845.

Even though they appear similar, I doubt it. It's likely the contacts
are different, otherwise the 27/28 would be listed as compatible with
your printer.

The HP 27/28 are compatiable with the HP56/57 but have a lower ink
volume. Tha is there is more ink in the 56/57 than the 27/28
