I have an HP Laptop 15t-dy 200. I have a Dell docking station: Dell Thunderbolt Dock WD19TBS.
Is it possible to use the Dell stocking station with the HP Laptop?

I've not seen any laptop docks that are compatible across manufacturers.

But, you have these 2 devices.
Does the laptop plug into the dock?

It's just a USB-C connection; so it's not an issue plugging in. The laptop currently does not seem to recognize the dock, but I wonder if that's just a driver issue.

Dell dock with HP or vice versa is extremely unlikely to work at all. They're not designed to be universal.

answer: it works fine with HP laptop - dock is compatible with all Windows machines that have a thunderbolt port

Consider yourself lucky. They are extremely problematic for every one of my clients that have tried to mix & match (clients = corporate with many hundreds of users)
