Hi, i have a HP-brand laptop that runs to error recently. Yesterday i ran this laptop normally, until today i run the laptop only to know if its got error. The laptop play, the screen is on but after the HP logo, the screen with usually "Starting windows..." text and Windows 7 logo above it, now, only appear the "Starting windows..." text only and the Win 7 logo won't come. The laptop also stops working and freezes on that screen. Only one action that i can use; turning off the laptop using power button

I have other solution on solving this problem; but temporary. Just after second startup the laptop recommends me to use "Windows Startup Repair" and its automatically restores the laptop to point that the laptop works naturally, making all my recently-installed programs and games gone! And as i say its temporary, the unknown prob come back to my laptop after some startups! And looks likes my antivirus is downed when solving this problem out.

Please if you guys know my very annoying-unknown problem, give me another solution. I just want to make this laptop plays as normally without making any files, apps, games harm and gone! Very thanks for who can solve this issue!

Is this way keep my programs, software, and games on its original place? The instruction says 'All programs purchased will be lost"

Hi Ravi,
Have you been doing regular backups of your data?

Hi Ravi,
I can understand that being in college doesn't allow for much free time. As you mentioned during your Windows Startup Repair you lost your data. I highly recommend you try to back up your data on a regular basis.

If your laptop is under warranty, I'd recommend contacting HP Technical Support at 800-474-6836 so they can determine your warranty support options.
