Hello,

I BOUGHT ONE NEW HP G6 LAPTOP DATED 11.08.2012. NW I WAS LOST MY OS. MY LAPTOP COMMANDING SHOWING "REBOOTING OS" BUT I CANT REBOOTING. AFTER I WANT TO HP SERVICE CENTRE. THEY ARE TELLING YOUR ARE LOSE YOUR RECOVERY (HP) SOFTWARE. IT COST Rs.1000 TO 1500/-.
WHY? I WANT TO PAY MONEY. SOLD ORIGINAL OS WIN7 HOME BASIC. KINDLY TELL ME FREDS WHAT IS THE PROCE... I NEED SOME DETAILS FROM UR END. KINDLY HELP.

What?

You sold your Original OS Win7 Home Basic that came with the machine in less then 3 days? If that is the case then you need to purchase a new copy of Windows to install on the machine as you shouldnt have sold it to begin with (it belongs to that machine).

Through HP's support you should be able to get recovery CD's for the cost of shipping but since you "WANT TO PAY MONEY", i personally wouldnt worry about the HP recovery. Any drivers on there can be downloaded from the website and having a fresh install of Windows without all their marketing bloatware is the best way to go.
