HP LP2465 - off newegg for a reason?

I'm looking into a multipurpose gaming/Photoshopping/general use monitor right now, and it looked like the HP LP2465 might fit the bill. First off, would you tend to agree that this monitor performs well for the price range ($550 roughly from some dealers), and secondly, why is this product no longer on newegg? Is there a reason I should know about?

Non-TN 24" panels are by and large being phased out.

Perhaps they simply do not know when or if they will put in an order for another shipment. That's assuming it has not been phased out.

Examples of de-listed monitors that have re-appear are the Planar PX2611w and the NEC LCD2690WUXi.

They aren't being phased out for quality reasons, right? Presumably it's an economic decision by the companies?

Product phase outs can occur for any number of reasons. Perhaps they are not selling as well or an improved model is going to be released.

The HP LP2465 is still being sold at other places so like I said, maybe Newegg is simply waiting for the next shipment at an undetermined time.
