Hp m7277c video card upgrade

I have a hp m7277c with 2 GB RAM running Windows XP SP3. I'm trying to see if there's a video card up-grade that would support Direct X9 and Shader Model 3. If anyone knows of an inexpensive up-grade path it would really be appreciated.

There is no practical way to do that. You are going to need a dual core or a quad core computer to make a video card worthwhile.

The system looks to have a PCIe slot, looks like the card in there is an ATI 600 series. With the Pentium D chip, you can run a llow-end modern video card and see a good boost in graphics.
