Question HP Monitor flickering pink, unusable

Hi all, my wife has an HP Pavilion 22xi monitor which was working as of this morning. Her PC performed a windows update, and afterwards the monitor came on pink with lots of flickering lines, it is impossible to see anything. I restarted the PC, checked the cable, and then hooked up our Switch to the monitor with a different cable and the problem persisted. Does anyone know a possible fix, or is this monitor just done? Thank you!

that's what it was on originally when the problem began, I was trying to rule out issues with the connection
