HP office jet 3830 not printing

I have my printer plugged into my computer, and it's simply not printing. I recently installed windows 10, and then installed the drivers and software for the printer and it's not print, no error messages or anything, I have been through installing and reinstalling the drivers and software and nothing.

Any help?

If i plugged in the usb into a 3.0 port onto my computer would it effect it not printing? I plugged it into a normal usb port and it is still not working.

As long as your usb 3 ports are working it should not matter. right click on the printer, see what printing, printer tab.

The document I wanted to print shows up, but the printer does not do anything, the screen on the printer stays on the home screen, then it disappears from the "what's printing page"
