Question HP Office jet 4650 Series "out of paper"

On more than one occasion the above printer has run out of paper. I replace the paper, the printer acknowledges that paper has been inserted but the print monitor still shows "out of paper" and won't print. A reboot clears it but is there a simpler solution?

disconnect and reconnect the printer in devices.

No tried that and it doesn't work

I'm not sure it's any easier, but you can turn your printer off and on.
