Dear all,
I have recently bought hp oj 5740 and when the setup cartridges were depleted I just refilled them with the ink I had and the one which I used to refill my old printer cartridges.(Hp 1515) the refilled ink works perfectly with my old printer,. But yesterday when I was printing from my new printer 5740 the setup carts were indicited low on ink however they were printing perfectly. As I refilled them with the same ink the cartridges have started to cause a problem. it is that the refilled ink is full in them but sometimes it print and sometimes it dosnt. when I took the carts out of the printer and put it on a tissue paper the ink comes out full but doing this for 2 or three times then the ink dosnt come out from the cartridge as if there is no ink in it however the cartridge is full of ink. please find out the solution of the problem of this cartridge as I have bought it recently and cant afford to buy new carts again and again. Anorther thing which surprises is that just before the refill the carts are working fine but moment after refill they don't work. Thanks to all.
Cartridges of Hp 1515 (hp 678)

Not sure what you are looking for here, the sensors that tell the printer if the ink is full or not does not get reset when you refill the ink. Having it read as low is normal, and that will also cause issues with printing.

There is also the issue of the refill ink being of good quality or not which and also how you refilled it, which may cause leaking.

Only fix is to replace the cartridges, they are designed for single use by HP, any fiddling around with them is not guaranteed to work and should not be surprising if they don't.
