Question HP Omen new laptop CPU is reaching almost 100 degrees. What can be the cause?

i5-9300H
16gb RAM
GTX 1660ti 6gb

I bought new gaming laptop 2 days ago. I installed The Witcher 3 yesterday. When I launched the game I noticed that the laptop was getting very hot. Fans became very noisy. Later I installed monitoring software and launched the game again. CPU temperature reached 99 degrees and always was between 80-100. I turned the game off in order to not damage CPU. What can be the cause? Is it a thing that I can tackle myself? Or should I bring the laptop to tech service?

Excellent game, hearth of stone was good but blood and wine was INSANE.

About laptop temperature 100c is the max safe temperature a laptop cpu can handle.
im sure its stable otherwise It wouldnt leave the factory.

alot of people use a cooling pad , I recommand one too.

I've already finished the main plot and both DLC-s on my old laptop. It was an amazing experience. I want to finish the game second time.

I did some search and after 90 degrees CPU throttling process begins. As I understand it's not a nice thing.

I think 90 degrees and above is too much . There should be some problem.

You can also go to the control panel, power options and set cpu max to 95% instead of 100.
