This is getting embarassing. I've always hated apple, but you have to give credit where its due. MacOS isn't devolving into adware/spyware and is less of a buggy mess. The M3 max will beat this HP handily on CPU performance, and probably on GPU too, all while consuming half the watts. The 14" macbook pro is also lighter.

I want to have high hopes for the new Qualcomm chips, but with how bad Microsoft is at working with hardware & software partners, Windows on ARM might be sufficient for work (programming) but not for gaming, since no one will release games for windows on ARM. At that point I might as well stick with my macbook for work and give up on the single device for both dream.
