I just bought the HP Omen x 35 a few days ago and have been mostly happy with it. There are some issues which I was aware of with VA panels but nothing more than that.
But just recently I started playing Destiny 2 and I started getting black screens that made the game completely unplayable. At first the screen went black just for 2-3 seconds and then would come back, but it didn’t happen very often. Then all of a sudden it started only coming back for a split second before it would go black for 5 or more seconds.
A side note, when it goes black it’s not like it’s going into a power saving mode or anything. It’s still lit up just displaying black.
If anyone has an idea what it is let me know! I’m out right now but when I get home I’ll be trying different drivers, disabling g-sync, changing displayport cords, and trying a lower refresh rate.
