Hp or Dell?

I want to buy a laptop but I don't know what brand. I heard bad and good things about both of the brands. Opinions?

Generally it is next to impossible to point out the best brand among the two you have given. It is all about the specific models of the laptops from each vendor, or about a particular laptop that has some manufacturing defects.

I would suggest you to pick one laptop model from each of the vendors of your choice and then compare the laptops and check the end-user reviews for each model. This way you can get a better idea as which laptop should you pick.
