HP & Packard Bell?

Maybe a dumb question but I don't know the answer. Has there ever been a relationship between Packard Bell and Hewlett-Packard. Is it the same Packard. Anyone know the back story if there is one?

It's purely coincidence, just like Packard the luxury car company. No relation whatsoever! In fact, polar opposite, PB made cheap "Amstrad like" laptops, HP make high end "Xerox like" laptops. PB are now an Acer brand.
