hp pavilian p6080a Graphics card upgrade

hey everyone my mate has this hp pavilian p6080a and he wants to play games and the problem is that he cant, so i decided to get him a amd hd 7770 from gigabyte and before i install it i was wondering if i can install it, what are the problems that might come and is there sufficient power? thanks

I can find total system specs for your HP Pavilion p6080a except for the PSU. I cannot find what model the PSU is or how many watts it is or anything. Without knowing how much power the PSU can deliver, the 7770 could potentially be too much for it. And, honestly, with parts that old and weak...even the 7770 might be bottlenecked... 😛

300w PSU, unless you have a Q8300, it will be let down by the cpu. 7750 a better fit.
