HP Pavilion 500-056 Upgrades

hello i have a HP Pavilion 500-056 and i need help upgrading and its hard getting info form manufactures site i came to the only place were there are experts so i am looking for a graphics card just under $200 with at least 2GB for upgrade and good for gaming and a good power supply under $100 i will be upgrading my computer case but i want the power supply to be safe so that it does not blow the pc ill provide link for some info on my pc and also i wil upgrade to a A10 processor in the future

some models of store bought computers [dell.hp,acer,ect..] may come with a ''locked'' bios and may not allow you to change certin hardware as a video card.. this is done to protect them from undue warrenty claims and refunds .this is not done to hurt you but to protect them. you realy need to see if that upgrade has been proven to work first before you invest money in it .. there are a lot of these threads here at toms to look at some models will allow upgrades and some dont.. it would be sad you spent $200 on a card that wount post after you installed it as most find out. but its up to you good luck..

well there info on the lists upgrades but i don't now what is compatible with what nor do i now how to search for it
hp site does say its possible
i have seen steps on upgrading but i need help searching for something in my price range

ya but it may ''there'' upgrades not aftermarket... dude you can do as you feel right you see like a vid card has a bios in it to hp buys vid cards with fixed bios that work with there computers there computers bios are fixed so only there parts may work with them to keep you from tampering with there product out side of there warrenty to protect them from undue claims ...

ok i under stand that but i am asking for good graphics cards and power supply for example i know a graphics card 3.0 is backwards compatible with 2.0 but i want to now for my price range what would you guys recommend i buy for less than $ 200 and a power supply upgrade so that i can compensate for a better graphics card that is all hp shows i can upgrade my cpu to a A10 processor that i can do later on but what my problem is that will what is that difference is GDDR5 from a DDR3-5 and i had a ddr3 that worked ok but i want something better i only need helping searching for components for my current modo i dont want something to overclock just a simple graphics card for better quality and performance

I also have an HP 500-056 and I pulled everything out and stuck it in a different case with a different PSU. It will not turn on. Switch the psu - works fine.
