I'm having a bit of trouble taking out the drive cage out of the hp
pavilion 8590c case. I have read a few topics about removing the screws
from the top edge of the case and the one near the floppy drive but I
don't see how it can be removed without taking the front panel off
which that proved to be difficult too without breaking it off. If
anyone had experience with this particular case I'd appreciate any
assistance in removing the drive cage. Thx.

Sounds like the same design of my 8655C. If so, there should be a tiny
car door handle thing near the top rail I believe. I know it if I saw
it. And you lift up and out like a car door handle. While holding it
out, the whole rack slides out towards the front. And the front panel
(bezel), slides out with it.

Cheers!
