HP PAVILION BOOT MENU?

HP PAVILION A730N CAN'T GET TO BOOT MENU TO BOOT FROM BACK UP RESTORE CD . . . . HIT EVERY KEY FOUND SETUP . . .BUT NOT BOOT MENU. .I KNOW THEY VARY . . .BUT I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT I HIT TO GET TO SETUP ...I WAS HOPING I COULD SET BOOT ORDER THERE. ..BUT I COULDN'T . .MAYBE ITS A SET OF SEVERAL KEYS AT ONCE? ANYBODY GOT ONE OF THIS OLD TIMER DESKTOP?. . THANKS FOR THE HELP . .. JERRY

When the blue screen with the HP Invent logo appears, press the F10 key on the keyboard. (You have only a few seconds to press the F10 key before the normal startup process continues.)
-- from page 10 of the the Warranty and Support Guide located here. Then move through the screens until you find the boot devices -> the CD/DVD drive, save and exit the BIOS. The system will restart.
