I want to upgrade a old HP Pavilion dv6 laptop and seek help for the following:
(1a) the current BIOS is Ver. F12 [08/05/10], do we have a BIOS upgrade from this BIOS version ?
(1b) Is processor [currently i5 M460 @ 2,53GHz] upgrade possible in the laptop (if its socket mounted), hence the highest Processor Specs supported ?
(2) the maximum RAM capacity is 8GB [2 x 4GB], what the HIGHEST memory bus frequency this mother board [144A, ver 65.27] can support ?
(3) what will there be a performance enhancement if the HDD is replaced with a SSD ( as it has only SATA-II interface) ?
(4) Does Win10 OS perform well on this configuration ?
(5) Can the current WiFi card RALINK RT3090BC4 V20A be replaced with a card with enhanced Specs - What is the enhanced WiFi card ?
(6) Pertinent suggestions pls, Thankyou -

First of all, what is you type ? HP Pavillion DV6 have many types (ex : dv6-3163cl , dv6-3150us , etc)

(1a) the current BIOS is Ver. F12 [08/05/10], do we have a BIOS upgrade from this BIOS version ?
I can't find any support for this laptop, including the BIOS. Why do you need BIOS update ? Don't update the BIOS if everything is run fine.

(1b) Is processor [currently i5 M460 @ 2,53GHz] upgrade possible in the laptop (if its socket mounted), hence the highest Processor Specs supported ?
You have to check the socket, because the i5-M460 have BGA (soldered) and PGA (Mounted). But, refer to this manual i found (page number 99), they are mounted, so you can upgrade.

(2) the maximum RAM capacity is 8GB [2 x 4GB], what the HIGHEST memory bus frequency this mother board [144A, ver 65.27] can support ?
Refer the link before (page number 2), the supported RAM is 1066Mhz. Especially i7 can use 1333Mhz RAM.

(3) what will there be a performance enhancement if the HDD is replaced with a SSD ( as it has only SATA-II interface) ?
The Read/Write speed will be limited by SATA II. But the pros is, improve the systems response.

(4) Does Win10 OS perform well on this configuration ?
They are recommend win 7 for the systems. But Win 10 will work on this laptop.

(5) Can the current WiFi card RALINK RT3090BC4 V20A be replaced with a card with enhanced Specs - What is the enhanced WiFi card ?
Sorry but I'm not aware about this.

(6) Pertinent suggestions pls, Thankyou -
IMO, you don't need to upgrade the CPU. You will only got a little improvement.
If you want to upgrade, max the RAM to 8Gb and got a SSD, and you will feel the different.

Thankyou Very much ! - and esp. for the Hardware Ref. manual !!
BIOS upgrades sometimes address enhanced upgrade components /features ( in some other Desktop Motherboard I had to do this)

CPU-Z tool generates this identification particulars only:

Yeah, for desktop they will. They won't do much on Laptop, besides add feature or stability improvement,

Based on your serial Laptop, I found the BIOS and another driver. Here you go :
