HP Pavilion g series won't start

My HP Pavilion g series screen won't go on. The caps lock light blinks every three seconds. This happened before but after a few attempts it eventually turned on, but now nothing.

can you hook up an external monitor to it and then boot it up?

LEDs blink 3 times

Module error not functional

Reseat the memory. See the section Reseating memory modules in a notebook for more information.

If reseating the memory does not resolve the problem, try replacing the memory modules.
