I have a HP Pavilion g7-1075 DX Notebook that my brother gave me when he died I was going to buy a new laptop with 4k resolution but since I got this one I thought I would ask if a 4k resolution motherboard would work in this Notebook

get a new laptop as most laptops are not designed to be upgradeable except for ram & hard drive.
