HP Pavilion GPU Drivers

Hello everyone,

I am using a HP Pavilion laptop and I can run all the games I own on a variety of settings. This is not my issue. I am using Raptr and have continuous messages saying my AMD and Intel drivers are out of date; I know this because I used the drivers from HP website. I understand I need to keep all drivers up to date and I do on my desktop however I have completed this updates a few times before and they have created problems with both AMD and Intel.

My question is; are these problems I am experiencing with AMD and Intel updated drivers a common problem? Or is there something I am missing?

Thank you!

Caleb.

Solution
Unfortunately, this is a problem typical of laptops. The manufacturers, ever producing newer laptops, often discontinue driver updates long before the life of the laptop you purchased ends. Of course, these drivers are also customized to suit the power and thermal specifications of the laptop, so standard drivers from AMD/NVidia/Intel often do not work.

Sorry to say, but this is often just the way it is.
