I bought a new 24 inch monitor for my wife's HP Pavillion a1640n, i would like to get better graphics , i understand this HP has a chipset on the motherboard, do i change that or add a graphics card? thanks, for a reply.

Does she want to play games?...do you want the graphics card for the two dvi or vga ports? as in extra monitors?

What resolution does she want to play games at if thats her "goal"?

Why do you want to add the graphics card?...
