HI so I bought this PC about two years ago and it has served me well but now im looking to upgrade the PSU from 300w to around 600-700w and also get a new fan since the old one is very dusty along the way get a gtx 970 can you guys tell me if this system is upgradeable because I did a lot of research and it seems Ive found nothing
THANK YOU

Solution
You should be able to upgrade this. It's not the best case, goes to temps.I would spend a little on a better case too,but that's up to you and your budget.

If the fan is dusty clean it if it works fine.No need for a new one, that money is better spend on a different case which preferably has two fans.

You hardly need >550watts for the specs of that pc with a gtx 970.If you keep this case choose a modular one so you can keep cables dangling down to a minimum.A thing to do is put the dvd player in the lowest 5.25 place and use the space above it for some cable management.

Need help with parts?

At least get a decent psu, don't just look at the wattage, but also at quality. For a list to look at,
http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-1804779/power-supply-unit-tier-list.html
choose at least tier 3,but tier1 or 2(a) are the better choices.

That computer comes with the best cpu the motherboard supports. The i7 2600 is plenty fast and will kick butt at gaming. The following hardware will turn your pc into a high end gaming machine.
