Yes the gpu is soldered as well. Most laptops are. Only the very few $1000+ gaming laptops have mxm slots. How did you friends' upgrade theirs? Even changing out the cpu would probably have next to no effect on gaming which is mostly dependent on the gpu. And I doubt they had $1000+ gaming laptops to upgrade. You also can't change out mobos for laptops. They do not have standard form factors like desktops. That mobo will only fit in that laptop and you can only replace it with the same mobo.

If you intentionally damage it, warranty won't cover it but I'm guessing your parents will buy you a new one? Just say it was stolen and give it to someone less fortunate. No point in breaking things that work fine.
I somehow think that my gpu in not an integrated one. Will ask my local dealer to verify ones... But talking about cpu, should this raise my concern towards buying a new motherboard overall for my notebook? If so, will there be a compatible one?

Are you sure about this? Isn't there any other way or tech to somehow work this out cause few of my friends with laptops have upgraded their lappy for high end gaming.

And if so in that case maybe if I damage my video card or GPU some day probably would leave me no choice but to dump this and buy a new one?
