Hp photosmart 2610 troubleshooting

My HP 2610 all in one printer will not keep it's IP settings, I am wondering if there is an on board battery that keeps these settings when the pringter is unplugged for a length of time?

A printer normally gets an IP address from the Router by DHCP each time it starts up.
