HP Photosmart C7280 All-in-one

I have a HP Photosmart C7280 All-in-one. I'm trying to do an alignment of the cartridges and I've done it many times before but now it keeps saying "Please insert a white sheet of paper." I've inserted 3 different brands of white paper and it keeps saying the same thing every time. Everything I'm printing is blurry and hard to read. Please help.

Unplug the printer, then plug it back in. Clear print jobs in Control Panel.

Ive done that multiple times. What ever the part for the printer that figures out that the paper is plain white seems to not work.

A couple of things to try:

1) MicroCenter has a 'walk-in' tech support. They may be able to help you. (Also CompUSA, Fry's)
2) HP tech support.
