HP Printer Driver Cleaning

Hello,My HP Color Laser Jet CM1312 MFP doesn't print, suggeting a an unclean printer driver. How can I clean my printer driver?

I'd start by reinstalling the software and driver that came with the printer.
Or, downloading the latest driver from HP.

delete the printer drivers, reboot, then re-install update from hp website.
