HP printer showing error -E

My Hp deskjet F4488 printer suddenly stops working and shows a error E on its display panel and all of its lights including power and ink indicators are blinking very fast. please its urgent, help me.

HP Support document says error 'E' & all the lights blinking = "A fatal error has occurred. (no specific cause given).

Solution (from same page): Return printer to HP for servicing.

Note that if the printer is no longer covered by warranty, HP servicing will be very costly. In which case it will most likely be more cost-effective to replace the printer.
