HP printer won't print

I have an HP 5550 Deskjet printer. I uninstalled the driver, then connected the printer and it automatically installed the new driver. I tried to print and the job shows up in the quire, but the printer willnot print. I ried to print a test page, but it will not print. The only thing that has changed recently is I installed Word 2010> Any ideas on how i

Vista is noted for screwing up drivers. Here is what I would do.
1) - Uninstall the driver.

2) - Download the drivers from HP site - Save to desktop (do not Install)

3) - Reboot

4) - When Hardware wizard starts, point to drivers on desktop.
