HP printer

Hello,
I have a HP printer. I had to run recovery discs and now Iam unable to check the status of the ink cartridges. A message came up telling me I need the HP Director. My operating system is windows xp. Which HP Director do I download?

If you had to run a recovery disc then you may have deleted the drivers or software that goes with the printer. If you have the original install disc you can do a re-install of the printer or you can go the the HO support web page and enter the model and operating system you can get the needed software including the HP Director for Windows XP. Make sure you get the one for your OS and it is either 32 bit or 64 bit.
