hp probook 4440s

My father have a HP probook 4440s and I want to upgrade its CPU to an Intel i7
I saw some same models of this laptops were in i7 in web!
Some specifications about the laptop
i5 3320m 2.6GHz 3M
4GB 1600MHz
Intel HD Graphics 4000

is it impossible to upgrade it?

you should be able to since the cpu is not soldered to the motherboard. Please reference http://www8.hp.com/h20195/v2/GetDocument.aspx?docname=c04126959 for a list of compatible cpu's. Make sure you update the motherboard to latest bios before upgrading cpu.

I saw the name of the socket in my machine is “rPGA” is that mean it’s not soldered?
