I have a refurbished HP ProBook 4535s and I installed windows 7 Professional x64.
I am missing the smbus controller driver which I had read into it quite a bit to find that I am 50% about what it is. lol... I read that it's a part of the intel chip set family and its purpose to measure cpu temps and I read that it's a similar interface for amd. If someone could please clarify this for me , I'd be a happy camper.
I am simply looking for the smbus coller driver for this unit.
its hardwareids :
PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_780B&SUBSYS_168B103C&REV_13
PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_780B&SUBSYS_168B103C
PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_780B&CC_0C0500
PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_780B&CC_0C05
and its physical device object name :
\Device\NTPNP_PCI0013
Thanks this site rocks.
